Blended Giraffe

I had to practice using different line and blending techniques to create a realistic looking giraffe. I found it easy to follow the teachers instructions to create the giraffe shape. It was difficult to keep all the parts in perspective. Next time I will try harder to use blending to show dark and light.

The Daintree Forest

In reading I was learning to identify what the author wanted  me to feel think or see.

I was making a poster to convince people to save the Daintree Rain Forest and to not build hotels because they will break the trees. If we break the trees we will not have a forest. If we break the Daintree rain forest. It was hard  to make the posters. It was easy  to save our Daintree rain forest and to convince people to please not break the Daintree rain forest by building a hotel.  

Next time we will use facts to help convince you .

Solving Fraction Problems

I was learning to solve fraction problems using equal sharing. We had to use kidpix to show how we solved our problems. I found it hard because I haven't done fractions in a long time. One thing I did well was counting in 5's. Next time I will try to use addition.
